With a view to create awareness regarding effects of edible oil on developing cardiac diseases, a seminar was held recently at BIRDEM auditorium.
The seminar was organised by Malaysian Pam Oil Council. National Professor Brig. general (Rtd) M A Malik was the chief guest in the occasion. He underscored the need of cholesterol free edible oil to prevent cardiac ailments.
Speakers said that pam oil is being used since ancient time and still it is the second largest edible oil. It is free of fat and thus can prevent cardiac diseases. Renowned cardiac specialists from home and abroad attended the programme. They termed pam oil as cardiac friendly and urged to make it accessible to all.
